Peak Fable filmed the reopening of Aqueduct Cottage, a 19th-century historic home near Cromford, Derbyshire, famously visited by a young Florence Nightingale.
Empty since 1970, the cottage reopened to the public after a four-year restoration project. To create a compelling narrative, we conducted interviews with visitors and project contributors, capturing personal stories and reactions.
The video was shared widely on Facebook and uploaded to Derbyshire Wildlife Trust’s YouTube channel, becoming one of their better performing videos, successfully engaging the local community and highlighting the cottage’s rich history and the surrounding Derbyshire landscape. It amplified the Trust’s efforts to raise awareness of this restored heritage site.
Testimonial
‘Peak Fable were friendly, professional and easy to work with. On a very busy day for the Trust they organised themselves really well and were able to get some wonderful footage of our celebration event.’
